MOOD LOGS

Nothing stops thoughts like “my mood will never change” or “I will always feel like this” the way cold hard evidence to the contrary does. These logs are a handy way to collect that evidence. You can track  the shifts in your mood and/or anxiety levels, so absolutes like “always” and “never” become less convincing.

You can fill these mood logs out any way you’d like! I prefer to fully color the rectangles in with a similarly colored pen. But you can fill them in or “X” or check them off with any pen or pencil you like. And don’t feel the need to average out your day. You can always note multiple boxes in the day’s column. I partially fill in a box if my mood only vaguely wandered in that direction. You could even include what percentage of the day was spent where. Make it your own! (I do recommend keeping your chosen style consistent for easier reflection.)
